Puppetry

This one-day course is suitable for creative practitioners, teachers, SENCOs, parents, carers, etc. working with all children and young people.

During this one-day course you will develop skills in puppetry using simple, effective techniques, both in making and manipulating puppets and thinking creatively about implementing these skills within your workplace setting.

What’s involved:

  • Making a ‘bag puppet’ from accessible materials.
  • Build confidence in manipulating your puppet.
  • Ways in which you can use and play with puppets in a school setting using the Bamboozle Approach.
  • Puppet making workshop ideas.
  • Free style puppet play with a variety of Bamboozle Puppets.
  • Video clips of puppets in Bamboozle performances
  • Finishing the session with a Q&A about any aspects of puppetry and use of it in different contexts.
