Bamboozle’s Summer Family Residency 2018: KELDA’S QUEST

A multi-sensory adventure for families with children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and for families with a child on the autistic spectrum (AS).

The experience:
Kelda the Protector has a quest. A team of explorers are needed to travel together over the frozen tundra, through uncharted wilderness to help resolve an ancient quarrel and bring peace to the divided lands that surround Kelda’s pine forest sanctuary.

Could this be you?

Join Bamboozle for a family day of multi-sensory experiences in the wilds of the northern hemisphere
The experiences are designed for the whole family aged 3 – 99 years! All are welcome.

Below is a testimonial kindly provided by one of Bamboozle’s families to give you an insight into what you can expect from Bamboozle’s family residencies:

“The Bamboozle experience is very special and very important to our family.  We have four children, three of whom have autistic spectrum conditions and various associated conditions.  Our youngest son’s complex and high support needs makes accessing  activities beyond our family home extremely difficult.  Usually either my husband or myself look after my youngest son whilst the other one takes our other three children out.  Four years ago this changed when we discovered the Bamboozle Family Experience.  Bamboozle is the only place we have found that we can go as a whole family and be valued and accepted unconditionally.  To feel this is a very special, powerful and healing experience for each of us.   The Bamboozle artists have a rare and highly skilled gift of truly ‘being’ with a person and meeting them where they are at .  To say we unconditionally accept and value another person is one thing, but to communicate this and enable a person to actually feel accepted and valued is what Bamboozle does.  The Bamboozle artists have an intuitive creativity which supports us to help create and explore magical multi-sensory environments on our own terms and in our own time.   For our first two Bamboozle experiences our youngest son was hardly in the room where it was taking place, but the artists brought the Bamboozle experience to him and gradually his engagement and interaction has increased.   The ultimate testament to the power of Bamboozle is that if I were to say my kids that they could go to Bamboozle tomorrow they would drop everything to go (including their iPads!), and so would I!”
